Advena is thrilled to announce the promotion of James Bradbury to Operations and Compliance Director. Since joining Advena in 2021, James has bought with him over 20 years of dedicated experience in the medical device sector, spanning roles across regulatory, compliance, and quality management for a diverse range of medical device manufacturers.
Throughout his career, James has worked with an impressive portfolio of products—from Class III implantable orthopedic devices like hip implants to Class IIa autologous blood transfusion devices, and Class I orthotic devices. His industry journey has included roles such as Product Quality Engineer and Supplier Quality Manager, culminating in leadership positions, including Head of Operations within a Notified Body.
James’ time with a Notified Body, where he progressed from Lead Auditor under MDD and ISO 13485 to Global NB Operations Manager, has further enhanced his comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and quality management. His experience has been invaluable to Advena’s commitment to delivering tailored, top-tier consultancy services to our clients.
In January 2023, James took on an expanded role, overseeing the compliance of Advena’s internal QMS and managing our external training programme—a service offering we’re excited to further develop and expand in the coming year.
As Operations and Compliance Director, James will continue to drive Advena’s mission forward, enhancing operational strategies and supporting our clients’ compliance needs with his signature attention to detail and proactive approach. We are immensely proud of James’ accomplishments and eagerly anticipate the expertise and leadership he’ll bring to his new role.
