My name is Amy, I joined Advena to be part of a growing organisation passionate about compliance and use my experience to benefit clients in the medical device industry. With a degree in Forensic Science and a Masters by Research specialising in Forensic Toxicology, I unexpectedly found my way into the quality and regulatory world. Starting with a job manufacturing diagnostic reagents, progressing into areas of Quality Control and Batch release, I’ve found myself nearly a decade later still in the industry.
I have gained extensive insights into so many different areas of the industry through working directly for IVD and orthopaedic implant manufacturers. Since 2020, I have worked as a consultant gaining priceless experience building quality systems and technical documentations from scratch to support clients through audits transitioning to the Medical Device Regulation.
